🏝️ Major Man-Made Island and Waterfront Developments

These projects showcase Dubai's engineering prowess, dramatically reshaping its coastline and creating massive new areas for luxury living and tourism.

  • Palm Jumeirah: The most famous of Dubai's man-made islands, this completed project is the world's largest artificial island and a symbol of luxury, featuring high-end residences, world-class hotels (like Atlantis, The Palm), and beach resorts.

  • Palm Jebel Ali: Originally launched in 2002 and recently revived, this project is double the size of Palm Jumeirah. It is a major master-planned destination poised to redefine urban coastal living with a significant number of residential villas, hotels, and attractions.

  • The World Islands: A collection of 300 small private artificial islands constructed in the shape of a world map. While the overall project is complete, most islands remain unoccupied, but select islands feature ultra-luxury resorts and residences.

  • Dubai Islands: A significant Nakheel Properties master-planned destination comprising five islands, covering $17$ square kilometers. It is focused on hospitality, residential, and leisure offerings, aiming to enhance the emirate's appeal as a coastal destination.
